Job Description

We Are Looking For

An experienced licensing person to join the Warp Licensing team with the goal of delivering sync opportunities for our artists across all media with an emphasis on Film, TV and driving our work in Original Score. The ideal candidate will be an intent follower of Warp and our artists and demonstrate a deep knowledge and passion for the worlds of Film, TV and Original Score.

The Los Angeles-based Licensing Manager will be responsible for creatively pitching Warp Records, Warp Publishing and other represented labels, artists and composers for licensing and score opportunities in Film and TV, as well as contributing to the department’s work in Advertising, Trailers and Videogames. You will be responsible for proactively seeking licensing opportunities, responding to music searches, maintaining relationships with clients (music supervisors, editors, directors, producers, etc.), handling licensing requests, reporting on licensing activity, marketing (e.g. mailouts, playlists, social platforms, live events) and generally contributing to the day-to-day work of the sync department.

Qualifications

Desired skills and experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in sync licensing, music supervision or related industries;
  • A passion for Film & TV music to picture and Original Score;
  • Knowledge of Warp Records and Warp Publishing catalogues;
  • General knowledge and passion for current and upcoming Film & TV projects;
  • Strong relationships within the Sync community in LA and North America;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, both in-person and remote;
  • Confident and enthusiastic with the ability to talk engagingly about music and contemporary culture in general;
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects;

Salary depends on experience.
