Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Head of Artist Relations with over seven years of extensive experience across various facets of the music industry. This role is ideal for someone with significant exposure to DSPs, A&R, and artist management and a deep understanding of diverse musical genres. The chosen candidate will be pivotal in building and leading our Artist Relations departments globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategize and oversee the expansion of EVEN’s Artist Relations departments.
- Cultivate relationships with artists, managers, and other key industry players across a variety of genres.
- Drive partnerships and collaborations with DSPs, record labels, and artist management companies.
- Lead a team of artist relations professionals, setting departmental goals and guiding team development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and leverage insights to optimize artist engagement and satisfaction.
- Represent EVEN at industry events, enhancing our brand presence and networking with potential collaborators.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to ensure a cohesive and artist-centric platform experience.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years experience in the music industry, specifically in DSPs, A&R, or artist management.
- Proven track record of building and leading successful teams.
- Extensive network within the music industry and a deep understanding of various music genres.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic mindset with a talent for identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
