AEI Music is an independent music community, based in East London. We grow, support and develop new and existing artists, brands and labels from the world of electronic music.

AEI Music’s Recordings division offers a wide range of artists & label services including distribution, label management and marketing.


Impact

As a product manager, you will work as a key part of the AEI Music Recordings team to manage the day to day activities of our releases. You will have full ownership on release campaigns for assigned AEI Music artists and labels, leading on marketing and distribution plans for each of the releases.

From concepting creative assets to engaging marketing partners, you will be working closely with artists, managers, agencies and our internal teams for the full cycle of each campaign, effectively coordinating tasks and driving deadlines through each stage of the release.

You will be leading on assigning marketing budgets and dividing spends for each of the priority releases, advising our internal and external media buyers on best practices for specific audiences and genres and actively testing new initiatives and platforms to promote our music.

You will regularly collate and analyse available metrics and release results, sharing these in comprehensive reports with other stakeholders, where you’ll draw conclusions and seek out opportunities to increase performance.


Must haves
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the music industry
  • Experience in managing independent EP or album release campaigns
  • Experience in music data analytics and understanding how to apply this to a campaign
  • Experience and understanding of digital paid media advertising plans and platforms, best practices and their impact
  • Experience and thorough understanding of music marketing & streaming landscape
  • An understanding of social media platforms, including, but not limited to Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter
