Position Summary:

The D2C Director will lead the D2C team, overseeing global D2C and e-commerce operations for the label group’s proprietary and affiliated labels Secretly Canadian, Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar, Saddest Factory, Numero Group and All Flowers Group. This newly created role will report to our VP Operations, UK & EU.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the label group’s global e-commerce strategy using a data-driven approach
  • Create a holistic reporting and analytical framework based on current and historic sales and subscriber data, UX/CX innovations and other growth factors
  • Oversee web store developments and identify key areas of UX/CX improvement
  • Identify new market opportunities and verticals
  • Develop and implement KPI’s that will drive audience acquisition and revenue growth
  • Identify patterns and develop expertise on the label rosters and their customer bases’ behaviour
  • Manage multiple members of staff within the D2C team
  • Identify and implement new technologies to streamline internal processes and increase productivity
  • Ensure compliance with international chart rules, import/export regulations & other territory specific demands
  • Own and develop systems that will work across multiple labels, brands, and verticals supplied by a network of international fulfillment locations

The Ideal Candidate Demonstrates
  • 5+ years experience in e-commerce or similar
  • Show an interest in consumer insight and market trends
  • Strong analytical skills and aptitude
  • Fluency in managing large data sets and extracting actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A self-starter, highly committed, proactive and a reliable professional
  • Someone with great attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • An individual with advanced organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise to tight deadlines
  • Passionate about music and the music industry at wide with drive and enthusiasm to chase new opportunities
