$500m-backed Saban Music Group’s first release tops Latin Airplay Chart

Last year, multi-billionaire entertainment mogul Haim Saban revealed plans to invest $500 million in a new music company called Saban Music Group (SMG) – and the debut release from this new recorded music business power-player just hit a major milestone.

Subelo’ the Latin version of Further Up (Na Na Na Na Na) by Static and Ben El featuring Pitbull and Chesca has climbed to No.1 on Billboard‘s Latin Airplay Chart.

The original track,  Further Up (Na, Na, Na, Na, Na), released on January 10, already boasts over 22 million views worldwide to date and has contributed to the 470m combined views on Static and Ben El’s YouTube channel.

The track has amassed over 37m audio and video streams thus far.

It has also Charted on 29 Shazam Charts around the world and reached the No.1 spot on Radio Disney 4 weeks in a row and counting.

The song tallies over 10m Spotify streams combined and Charted on 24 Viral Country charts globally.

Subelo’ marks the Duo’s first career single to chart on Billboard’s Latin Airplay Chart as leading artists.

SMG is based in Los Angeles, California and is spearheaded by music industry veteran and CEO Gus Lopez.
