In March 2023, Believe acquired Sentric Music Group, an independent, technology-enabled music publishing platform, as the first step towards building an innovative music publishing business with a digital focus. This latest acquisition is an exciting opportunity to leverage Sentric’s publishing expertise and technology and Believe’s digital music expertise and global footprint to create a new publishing offering for Believe’s extensive customer base (including Nuclear Blast, Groove Attack, Rough Trade).

You will be based in our local Believe office in Hamburg, Berlin or Cologne and work closely with the Believe teams, its brands and Sentric’s publishing experts.


Job Description
  • You are responsible for sourcing, developing and maintaining business relationships with customers throughout Germany in the areas of advertising, TV, film and video games.
  • Here you will take care of taking part in the important pitches, carrying them out and also providing creative input.
  • You will also be responsible for preparing offers and, if necessary, obtaining permits and licenses for business in Germany and abroad.
  • Your tasks will also include the conception and organization of suitable marketing and advertising activities for Believe’s Frontline Roster, including mailings, gigs and showcases.
  • Your responsibility will also include the management and development of relationships with local artists and a good overview of their catalog roster with a view to possible sync activities and the promotion of the German catalog within the international sync team.
  • You are also responsible for taking part in gigs with customers and maintaining good relationships with Believe’s A&R, publishing and label departments both nationally and internationally.

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in the music industry, a music publisher or agency.
  • A degree and/or training in the field of (media) management or similar or practical experience in this field
  • Ideally relevant experience in the sync business
  • Experience in sales and distribution to customers of different sizes and industries
  • An established network within the music, media and advertising industries
  • Excellent communication in German and English
